Tecovas X Amanda Deer Boot Bracelets Launch Nationwide

If you've been following along for the past few months, you've probably seen little hints of a project we've been working on behind the scenes.

Today, we're incredibly excited to finally share it:

Amanda Deer Boot Bracelets are launching in 37 Tecovas stores nationwide on June 18th!

It's hard to put into words what this moment means for our team.

What started as a simple idea—jewelry for your boots—turned into months of design, development, sampling, testing, production, and collaboration with one of the most iconic western brands in the country.

And along the way, we created something entirely new.

Where the Idea Started

The story of the Boot Bracelet actually began at Tecovas' 10-Year Anniversary Celebration in Austin last October.

Amanda Deer Jewelry was invited to set up our permanent bracelet bar at the event, and over the course of the evening we welded more than 250 bracelets for guests. It was an incredible celebration and an unforgettable experience to be part of.

But before the event, the Tecovas team came to us with a challenge:

Could we create a special chain designed specifically for a pair of Tecovas boots?

We were immediately intrigued.

As a jewelry designer, I had spent years creating pieces for wrists, necks, and ears—but never boots. The idea felt fresh, unexpected, and uniquely western. I went home and started sketching.

Those early concepts became the first Tecovas Boot Bracelets.

For the Tecovas Turns 10 celebration, we created 100 pieces exclusively for the event. The response was immediate. Customers loved them, the Tecovas team loved them, and it quickly became clear that this was more than a one-time project.

We weren't just creating a special event accessory. We were creating something entirely new.

Working with Tecovas

When the team at Tecovas saw our original boot chain designs, they immediately understood the vision.

Together, we began refining the collection, testing fit across different boot styles, selecting materials, developing custom packaging, and creating pieces that felt authentically Amanda Deer while fitting naturally into the Tecovas world.

What followed was months of collaboration, countless emails, samples, sketches, revisions, and problem-solving.

Every detail mattered. From the engraved Tecovas charms to the custom co-branded packaging, every element was thoughtfully designed to make the collection feel special.

The Production Process

One of the things we're most proud of is that these pieces were assembled by hand right here in Austin, Texas.

Over the past several months, our team in Austin has cut, assembled, engraved, packaged, and shipped more than 10,000 inches of chain by hand. We've developed custom co-branded packaging, created limited-edition statement pieces, and worked alongside an incredible team to bring an entirely new category of western accessories to life.

Seeing tables covered in chain, charms, packaging, and finished pieces was surreal.

There were long days, unexpected manufacturing challenges, and more than a few moments where we wondered if we'd pull it all off. But our team showed up every single day and made it happen.

The Wow Piece

In addition to the core collection, we worked closely with Tecovas to develop a very special statement piece.

Inspired by vintage western conchos and handcrafted details, we created a limited-edition concho Boot Bracelet designed to be a true showstopper.

Only four of these pieces were made.

They are available exclusively at:

• Tecovas SoCo in Austin
• Tecovas SoHo in New York

These pieces represent months of design exploration and are some of the most special accessories we've ever created.

The Team Behind the Chains

While my name may be on the jewelry box, this project would never have happened without an incredible team.

A special thank you to Gabby, Olivia, Shima, Alyssa and Lila who listened to countless ideas, celebrated the wins, and talked me through the inevitable moments of doubt that come with building something new. Together we hand assembled each piece and I'm so thankful for their incredible work on this project.

And a huge thank you to Jodis Strother, one of the best bench jewelers in the business, who helped us construct the 4 limited-edition Wow Pieces.

When we told her we wanted to suspend three substantial chains from the back of a hollow concho and somehow make it beautiful, durable, and wearable, she didn't blink.

She simply smiled and said:

"I like a challenge."

From that moment on, she became an invaluable part of bringing this vision to life. Her craftsmanship, problem-solving, and willingness to tackle the impossible transformed sketches and ideas into pieces that customers will soon be able to wear.

This collection carries a little piece of all of us, and I'm incredibly grateful for the people who helped make it happen.
