Amanda Deer Jewelry is a woman-owned and woman-run small business based in the heart of Austin, Texas. Amanda started with a simple but powerful vision: to create jewelry that feels timeless, personal, and attainable. She wanted women to be able to wear dainty, meaningful pieces every day — jewelry that doesn’t just sit in a box for special occasions, but becomes part of their daily story.

About Amanda
When she’s not designing new items, running her business, and being the face of her brand, Amanda’s spending time with her husband David and son Sam.
Amanda is also a patient advocate for the Glaucoma Research Foundation where she helps raise awareness about the disease and shares her personal story in hopes to help others. It's a cause that's close to her heart as she was diagnosed with Glaucoma when she was born and her father lost his sight from the disease at a young age.
She’s a busy lady but loves spending her free time outdoors on a fun hike or a playdate in the park with her family.

She enjoys nature, music and art. She loves crocheting and learning new things and inverse into many crafts while spending time with her cats. She loves homemade meals and occasional outings to new places when she can!
Her passion is to build her small business of the crafts she does and have others enjoy the creations!
She came across Amanda Deer Jewelry and already having a passion for jewelry with no hesitation, it was meant to be for her. Learning new skills and working with an amazing team, she couldn’t ask for more!

I’m a jewelry enthusiast with a special love for all things gold and sparkly, which is why Amanda Deer’s designs are a perfect fit for me. My passion for jewelry has only deepened since joining the team, and I’m constantly inspired by the unique pieces we create. When I’m not surrounded by gorgeous accessories, you can find me exploring Austin’s live music scene, trying out new restaurants with friends, or discovering hidden gems around the city. I’m also a full-time film student at the University of Texas, where I dive deep into my love for movies. Hook 'Em!

Shima - Bracelet Welder
Shima first discovered Amanda Deer Jewelry while searching for a new job and the perfect team to grow with, and instantly connected with their style and values. After exploring the website, she knew it was the right fit. Now part of the team, she’s excited to grow alongside a brand and team she genuinely admires!
Outside of work, you can find Shima spending time with her family and friends, or volunteering at community events. She has a deep passion for helping others, and dedicates much of her time to volunteer work. When she’s not volunteering, Shima is often lost in a book of Arabic poetry at Zilker Park, drawing inspiration from her love for Arab culture and literature.
