Always on the hunt for cool, minimal jewelry, Amanda was disappointed to find high prices at every turn. So she made her own--and got tons of positive feedback from family and friends. While working a career in marketing, Amanda put her pieces for sale online and watched as her designs slowly but surely gained popularity. Soon, the only way she could keep up with demand was to ditch the day job and form her own team. To this day, she and a group of creative ladies bring her jewelry dreams to life, right from their studio-slash-storefront in downtown Austin, Texas.
When she’s not designing new items, running her business, and being the face of her brand, Amanda’s spending time with her husband David and newborn son Sam. She’s also the President of the Women’s Jewelry Association, Austin Chapter, which helps women in the jewelry and watch industries advance and develop professionally through networking, education and leadership development. She’s originally from Denton, Texas and graduated from Texas Woman’s University where she studied Communications and Marketing. If you thought that was it, you were wrong; she’s also a spokesperson for the Glaucoma Research Foundation where she helps raise awareness and fundraise every year for glaucoma research. It's a cause that's close to her heart as she was born with Glaucoma and her father lost his sight from the disease. She’s a busy lady but always makes time to go on relaxing walks with her fluffy pup every day.
